Water Sewer & Sanitation

Residential Water Rates

Rate: $31.25

Standard monthly residential usage rate. Actual fees depend on usage volume and meter size.

Sewer Service Fee

Rate: $33.75

Monthly maintenance and service fee for town sewer infrastructure and treatment.

Sanitation & Recycling

Rate: $16

Standard curbside pickup for refuse and recycling materials for residential households.

WATER & SANITATION SERVICE INFORMATION

Welcome to the Town of Trezevant!

We are pleased to serve you. Please keep this information for future reference regarding your water and sanitation services.

Water Billing

Water bills are billed one month behind and are due on the 5th of each month.

A late charge is applied to unpaid balances beginning on the 6th.

Water service is subject to disconnection beginning around the 11th, depending on how the date falls on the calendar.

New Water/Sewer Service

Customers applying for new water and/or sewer service are required to complete the town's service application and pay the applicable non-refundable connection fee:

• Homeowners: $50.00
• Non-homeowners: $150.00

Service Reconnection

If water service is disconnected, a $50 service reconnection fee applies in addition to overdue balance before service is restored.

Didn't Receive Your Bill?

If you do not receive your water bill, please contact City Hall before the due date. We will be happy to provide your current balance and assist with questions regarding your account.

Please remember: Not receiving a bill does not change the payment due date.

Garbage Collection

Regular garbage collection is Thursday.

The current solid waste collection fee is $16.00 per month.

How to Pay

Online Payment

The Town of Trezevant offers a convenient online payment portal for utility bills and other town fees. Please not that a standard processing fee may apply to all digital transactions. Have your account number ready before proceeding.

Important Notice: Late fees apply if bills are not settled by the 5th. Service termination begins around the 11th if payment isn't received by 4PM around the 10th. A $50 RECONNECT FEE and the full past-due balance are required for restoration during office hours.

Payments can be made in person at City Hall during our standard business hours. We accept various traditional payment methods for your convenience. Please visit the main service window for assistance.

By Mail

Checks or money orders can be mailed directly to City Hall. Ensure your account details are clearly marked on the payment document to ensure timely processing. Do not send cash through the mail.

Drop Box

Can't make it to City Hall during regular business hours?

For your convenience, the Town of Trezevant provides a payment drop box located at the rear of City Hall.

1. Place your payment in a sealed envelope.

2. Clearly write your name, service address, and account number on the envelope.

3. If available, include the payment stub from your water bill.

4. Deposit the sealed envelope into the designated payment drop box at the rear of City Hall.

For your security, we strongly encourage payments by check or money order when using the drop box. Cash payments are discouraged, as cash cannot be easily traced if lost or misplaced.

• Batteries (power tools, vehicles, or ride-on toys)
• Household food

Use of the dumpster is reserved for the residents of Trezevant only!
